Customer's Fault Description
The black wire had come loose, after fitting the wire back on a new battery was installed the remote control lights did not light up when doing a test I therefore do not know if it is working at all.
I have ordered a new battery (2LSH20 7.2v 13Ah Lithium) for the gas fire which should arrive in about 5 days
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This heater remote arrived safely and on inspection was confirmed to have a damaged battery lead, this was replaced and then it was found that the buttons were also faulty. All four buttons were replaced which restored full functionality.
