Customer's Fault Description
Buttons not working are the Mute, and volume up & down.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Marantz remote arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to have non responsive volume and mute buttons.
On opening the issue was found to be due to liquid contamination over the button contacts and worn conductive pads. The PCB was cleaned of all contaminants and replacement conductive pads glued into place which restored full functionality.
