Wharfedale Vista 100 Remote Repair Details

Model : Vista 100
Customers Fault Description : the main on/off button when depressed to activate remote very unreliable performance and often can only be operated via the sound bar itself.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This soundbar controller arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to have a sluggish power button response.
On opening the issue was found to be due to contamination over the button contacts and PCB (see image). The board and button contacts were cleaned of all contaminants which restored full functionality.
