Just stopped working
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Bose remote arrived safely and on inspection the centre disc of the button array was messing. When tested the control was found to be transmitting as per normal operation. The control was opened to check for defects and although there was a mass of sticky contamination over the button array a fault could not be replicated.
After talking with the customer it was decided to repair the centre disc, a replacement was fitted from another model of Bose control, the exact one was not available as a spare, this array does stick out further than the original. The PCB and array was also cleaned of all contaminants.
