Not working at all . no light even with a new battery. Cover for the battery case missing.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This fireplace controller arrived safely and on inspection the battery cover was missing (this cant be replaced).  When tested the item was confirmed to be dead.

This was due to cracks in the solder joints around the LED.  The solder was reworked which restored full functionality.
