Customer's Fault Description
remote control no longer working after believed being dropped on hearth. ON/OFF button won’t turn fire on but manual button on actual fire will. Rest of remote control buttons won’t work either once fire is manually switched on. Two separate new packets of batteries also tried for elimination.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Valor remote arrived safely and on testing the 3rd button down (Heat 1) was found not to be transmitting. All other buttons were found to work as normal.
The contact pads on the faulty button were cleaned up which restored full functionality.
