Customer's Fault Description
The leg rest button not working at all and the back recliner needs several presses sometimes to get it working. Both buttons have deteriorated gradually which is why I think the fault is in the remote rather than the chair.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This remote arrived safely and on inspection the button contacts were found to have worn down making conductivity poor.

Replacement conductive caps were fitted.
