Customer's Fault Description
We have only had the fire & remote for just over three years, and rarely use them. We were in the process of having the fire serviced, when the remote was found to be dead (blank screen). The service engineer installed a brand new battery and the remote functioned. But the following day the remote again showed a blank screen. We have not tried any more batteries!
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This CRU Global 90 CF gas fire remote arrived safely and on testing was found to have an erroneous battery indicator and poor response.
This was due to the usual faulty of a faulty 7133 regulator. This was replaced which restored full functionality.
