Customer's Fault Description
Remote control does not work with the hood. Will not turn the fan or lights on. I've tried replacing the batteries also. The hood itself is in working order.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This cooker hood controller arrived safely and on testing was found to be dead.
This was found to be due to bad joints on the battery terminals. The terminals were soldered firmly which restored full functionality.
A Duracell battery was supplied on return.
