Customer's Fault Description

The Activation Light remains on all the time, even though the button isn't pressed.

Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Bale wrapper control arrived safely and on inspection the battery cover was missing.

On adding a power source the control was confirmed to be transmitting without a button being pressed.

When opened there was contamination on the PCB next to the ribbon cable socket, this had started to corrode the print. This was reworked which restored partial functionality (temporarily). It was then found that many of the buttons would not work including the stop button and also the other buttons would activate without the safety button being pressed.

The facia was found to have various corrosion spots due to water contamination, the traces were reworked but sadly full functionality could not be restored. Due to the amount of damage plus the fact that the item seems to bypass the safety button a replacement is recommended.

THIS ITEM WAS SCRAPPED AS PER OUR TERMS 29TH SEPT 2021
