Customer's Fault Description
Remote control not communicating with fire. The remote has been temperamental for a while but now does not work at all.
I have replaced the batteries in both the handset and receiver unit located in the fire but the remote is still not operating the motor for the flame. Remote control LED light operates when pressing buttons on the remote but receiver unit LED does not illuminate when remote control buttons are pressed.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote and receiver arrived safely and on testing, the remote was found to be at fault, it was not transmitting a signal. This was due to a faulty transducer in the handset itself.
The transducer was replaced as well as the battery cable which restored full functionality.
No issue was found with the receiver itself.
