No remote communication with Brake Tester headset

This remote arrived safely and on inspection only 3 of the buttons were present, the missing buttons cannot be replaced.
On testing the control was found to be dead. The LED was shattered and also the contacts were worn on the button pads. The LED was replaced and replacement conductive caps fitted which restored full functionality to the 3 buttons.
At the request of the customer a clone was created that duplicated the 3 buttons of the original
