Customer's Fault Description
Volume control buttons not working. Can sometimes get them to work by pressing very firmly. Other buttons seem to be working but be good if you could check them all.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Yamaha remote arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to have sluggish volume button response.
This was due to worn contacts and also contamination over the PCB. The PCB was cleared of all contaminants and replacement conductive pads glued into place which restored full functionality.
