Panasonic Repair

General wear & tear but particularly, On/Off red one: the circular button (the one around the OK button): the Guide: & Volume are particularly troublesome. The usual hit and miss error, sometimes a more than firm push needed. Bought a copy remote but that is nowhere near as good !

Wharfedale Repair

On/Off button has to be pressed extremely hard in order to work. Volume down button does not work.

Mertik Maxitrol Repair

This remote has been iffy for a long time, but usable. UP button should drive the gas valve motor anti-clockwise to increase flame height. DOWN button drives the valve motor clockwise/flame height lowers until off. BUT now only the DOWN button works. UP button does not light the receiver LED other than tiny blips and it seems to be in the wrong direction. There are two crystals on board 40000Hz and 40500 Hz. I think these are the up and down channels? I can send both items to assist a complete fix if you will accept the challenge! All batteries have been renewed. Remote part = G30-ZRHS, Receiver box = G30-ZRRS. I have the technical sheet if you wanted it.

Magiglo Repair

Remote handset is sending signal according to red telltale, receiver red telltale does not pick up signal or just flashed. Have checked batteries so I expect a problem with receiver battery housing.

Volume control buttons not working. Can sometimes get them to work by pressing very firmly. Other buttons seem to be working but be good if you could check them all.
