Customer's Fault Description
This remote has been iffy for a long time, but usable. UP button should drive the gas valve motor anti-clockwise to increase flame height. DOWN button drives the valve motor clockwise/flame height lowers until off.
BUT now only the DOWN button works. UP button does not light the receiver LED other than tiny blips and it seems to be in the wrong direction.
There are two crystals on board 40000Hz and 40500 Hz. I think these are the up and down channels?
I can send both items to assist a complete fix if you will accept the challenge! All batteries have been renewed.
Remote part = G30-ZRHS, Receiver box = G30-ZRRS.

Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote and receiver arrived safely and on testing the remote itself was transmitting on both channels but the receiver was not responding on one of the channels.
The issue was found to be a 40khz crystal in the receiver itself, this was replaced and then tested over a few days (when heated these items can work for days then fail).
Full functionality was restored.
