Blind will not open or close due to remote control not working
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Velux window blind remote arrived safely and on testing was found to be transmitting on each button press.

The code being emitted was tested and found to be normal.  The control was then opened to check for defects and one of the battery terminals was found to be badly corroded (see image).  It is not sure if this was causing an intermittent issue so the customer was contacted.  A fter talking to the customer it was concluded to change the terminal to eliminate that possibility.   This was done and again the code was confirmed as correct.  Replacement batteries were fitted as well just in case.
