Intermittent red button i.e faulty switch
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Carver remote arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to have sluggish power button response.
On opening there was a mass of corrosion around the button itself and on other parts of the PCB.
The button itself was also found to be high in resistance. The print was cleaned up and the power button replaced.
When the control was then retested full functionality was restored when double pressing the power button (see testing video)
