Remote will not open the fire up but will shut it down. Although light on the remote lights up for both operations

This remote and received arrived safely and on testing it was the remote that was found not to be transmitting on one of the channels.
This was due to a faulty 40.5 crystal in the handset, this was replaced which restored full functionality.
