Just suddenly stopped working was working fine on Friday afternoon and then not on Fri eve.changed batteries and red light sometimes on, but doesn't seem to be communicating with fan. Back was damaged and taped up by previous homeowner and is how we got it and has been working fine for the six years we've had it... Until now.

Kinder B type Repair
Handset stopped operating. After replacing the battery it still did not operate the fire and the bottom LHS button did not illuminate the indicator light. (The original battery had leaked in the area of the bottom LHS button.)

Dimplex RC01-008 Repair
Handset not working. I took batteries out and fine white powder was visible, so think they have corroded. Put new batteries in and tested on the Dimplex TNG2OR Tango Optiflame Electric Stove Heater without success.

Quattro Repair
The first time we used the remote it worked intermittently, then the next day it turned on but wouldn't move caravan at all. I spoke the seller and he admitted that a loose connector was held in place with duct tape. We tried reattaching but now it doesn't even turn on. It makes a beep if you press the reset or pair it to the box it beeps but that's it.

Denon RC-871 Repair
We've had the amp and remote in storage and forgot to remove the batteries. They'd leaked acid and when removed the battery springs had corroded and have cracked off so we've stopped looking at it to find a professional :) <br /><br /> It worked fine before being in storage so hopefully just needs the battery terminals (potentially all 4 pairs) replacing.
