Customer's Fault Description
Just suddenly stopped working was working fine on Friday afternoon and then not on Fri eve.changed batteries and red light sometimes on, but doesn't seem to be communicating with fan. Back was damaged and taped up by previous homeowner and is how we got it and has been working fine for the six years we've had it... Until now.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Ceiling fan remote arrived safely and on adding batteries was found to be transmitting as per normal operation. After talking with the customer it was found that it possibly could have been a battery issue. The control was opened to check for defects but no issue could be found. The remote was then tested over a couple of days and again no issue could be found.
A set of batteries has been supplied fitted on return, this item has been classed as no fault found.
If the control does eventually fail we can supply a clone if needed for the same price of what a repair plus postage would be.
