Customer's Fault Description
Handset not working. I took batteries out and fine white powder was visible, so think they have corroded.
Put new batteries in and tested on the Dimplex TNG2OR Tango Optiflame Electric Stove Heater without success.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This heater controller arrived safely and on testing was found to be dead. On inspection the battery terminals were badly corroded due to a battery acid leak. The terminal was replaced which restored full functionality.
