Remote controller was put through a washing machine in error
This garage door remote arrived safely and on inspection was found to have signs of corrosion on various parts of the board due to the washing machine incident (see image)
On adding a power source no signal could be detected. The PCB was given an alcohol bath to remove the contamination and retested, then a signal could be found as per normal.
