Customer's Fault Description
No reaction after pushing up or down button. Red led is not illuminating. Battery leakage in battery compartment. Device is 4,5 years old.
This remote and receiver arrived safely from the Netherlands and in inspection was confirmed to have a bad battery leakage in the receiver.
The remote was tested first and found to be transmitting as normal on both channels, the receiver however was not receiving at all.
A replacement battery compartment was fitted and full functionality was restored. The fault was caused by high resistance through the battery lead connecting the block and PCB caused by the leakage corrosion.
