This caravan mover controller was handed round by the customer and on testing was confirmed to be permanantly illuminated and had no rf signal.

On opening it was noticed that there was contamination around one of the buttons, this had caused some corrosion and was making a open circuit in the print.  This was reworked and partial functionality was restored.

The other problem was that the aerial coil was dry jointed, this was resoldered and full functionality was restored.
