REMOTE APPEARS OK BUT DOESN'T ACTIVATE THE RECEIVER UNLESS HELD WITHIN AN INCH OF IT. ANY FURTHER AWAY AND IT DOESN'T ACTIVATE IT. BATTERIES CHANGED ON BOTH SENDER AND RECEIVER.

 

This remote and receiver arrived safely and on testing the remote it was found to not be transmitting on any channel except when held at a short range from the receiver.

This was due to a faulty ultrasonic transducer in the control itself, this was replaced and full functionality was restored.
