Remote was dropped and now not working - on inspection it looks like battery connector on circuit board has broken,but I could be wrong!

 

This Naim remote arrived safely and on testing was not transmitting on any button press, when shaken the remote would temporarily spring to life.

On opening the problem was clear, the IR led had one of its pins disconnected from the print, the shaking movement made it temporarily connect.

This was resoldered and full functionality was restored.
