does not work from a distance, has to be right up to censer on speaker.
this remote arrived safely and on testing was found to intermittently be transmitting but with a weak signal.
On opening the control it was noticed that the battery compartment had an erroneous solder lump which was shorting the battery when inserted fully.
This solder splash was removed and full functionality was restored.
