Battery compartment broken and . Battery will not stay in contact with connectors. Back cover missing.

This garage door controller arrived safely and on inspection had a battery included but the battery cover was missing.
The battery cover cannot be replaced but this does not effect functionality. On testing it was found that the terminals were poorly fastened to the main PCB causing a break in the power supply. The terminals were resoldered and also were spring loaded back into position to maintain a strong battery connection.
A replacement 12v battery was supplied as the included battery had worn casing due to its removal. Full functionality was restored.
