Doesn't work at all will not select disc

This control arrived safely and on initial inspection it was noticed that hte casing was not held together firmly and also the IR led cover was missing.

On adding a power source no function at all could be found on any button press.

The controller was opened and immediately the issue was found, the negative terminal for the battery block had a broken PCB part, the had signs that someone had tried to repair it in the past but unsuccessfully.

The print was glued back together and then a reinforcing wire was soldered to both parts, this restored full functionality.

Please note that the IR led cover cannot be replaced due to lack of part availability but this does not effect functionality at all.
