Customer's Fault Description
The remote seems to be working except it doesn't seem to be transmitting anything to the controller unit which controls the stove 'temperature' gauge so the stove ignores the remote. The remote was dropped on the floor just before it stopped working - perhaps there's an issue with the bit in it which transmits the information to the receiver?
This Gazco remote arrived safely and on adding a power source was confirmed to not be sending a signal at all.
This was due to a faulty ultrasonic transducer, a replacement was fitted and full functionality was restored.
