Customer's Fault Description
I have tested the IR remote control using a Mobile phone camera and all the buttons except the on/off (power) button, the AV button, the volume + button, and the DVD/VHS output button.

 

This Panasonic controller arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to have many buttons non functioning.  On opening the remote a crack was noticed across the main PCB.  This was replaced with a new board and full functionality was restored.
