Linn Classik Repair
Many of the buttons have become 'sticky', particularly the top and bottom rows. I think it is just due to age and use rather than any specific spill. I have had the remote since new (2003) and it had been well cared for retaining functionality.

Royal UM204 Repair
In normal operation the green light at the top of the remote should come on a flash while it connects to the controller, and then become a solid green light once the connection has been established. Currently, the light is not coming on at all when the remote is switched on. Instead, the remote just makes a buzzing sound. I have replaced the battery a number of times but this has not resolved the problem. The remote has always been temperamental, and sometimes would need to be switched on and off a few times before the light would come on, but now it has given up entirely.

Yamaha RAV433 (To operate a RX-371 model) Repair
The problem is the volume buttons - the '+' button no longer functions at all, and the '-' button only functions after a few seconds if you press it very firmly. (The '+' button was like this for a while, but now doesn't do anything). All the other remote buttons work fine - the volume controls seem to have simply worn out through all the use they've gotten.
