Customer's Fault Description
Many of the buttons have become 'sticky', particularly the top and bottom rows. I think it is just due to age and use rather than any specific spill. I have had the remote since new (2003) and it had been well cared for retaining functionality.
This Stereo control arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to have sticky buttons. When the remote was opened the buttons were found to have contamination around them. This contamination was removed and full smooth functionality was restored.
