Customer's Fault Description
Nothing on screen nothing on the remote works
This Grohe remote arrived safely and on first inspection was found to have contaminated battery terminals.
On opening the control there was liquid around the main PCK which had caused a few points of corrosion. The board was given an alcohol bath to remove all contaminants and the print reworked, full functionality was restored.
Please note that as normal the remote just displays Service 01 in our testing video, this is due to it not being within the proximity of the receiver / shower.
Also note that as there was liquid found inside the control this remote is no longer waterproof and great care must be taken.
