Customer's Fault Description
The remote has accidentally gone through the washing machine and now will not operate the door. when it came out the machine the red light was constantly on, this has now turned off as the battery has flattend.
This Garage Door controller arrived safely with batteries included. On testing no function could be found on any button press.
The batteries were found to be dead, test batteries were fitted and the red LED illuminated but stayed on permanently without any button press.
The problem was found to be some contamination which was shorting our a few pins of one of the IC's, the board was given an alcohol bath to remove the contaminants and full functionality was restored.
