Customer's Fault Description
All of a sudden it just stopped working, tried to clean it still no luck

 

This Bose controller arrived safely and on testing was found not to be sending an RF signal on any button press.  On opening the control and carrying out a voltage / component check 2 problems were found.  The first being the input battery voltage was intermittent and also the crystal oscillator was faulty.  Both were rectified and full functionality was restored.
