The remote does not work at all.

 

This Wall Clock controller arrived safely and was missing its batter cover. 

On testing the control was found to be very sluggish in operation and in many cases would not work at all.

When opened the problem was found to be due to a dry solder joint on the IR LED this was resoldered and full functionality was restored.
