Customers Fault Description : Despite replacing the batteries, none of the buttons on the remote appear to be working
This Linn controller arrived safely and on testing was confirmed not to be transmitting on any button press.
One issue was found whereby the IR led print was cracked around the solder joint, the joint was reworked but still the issue remained.
A component test was carreid out and 2 33 ohm resistors were found to be open circuit, these were replaced and straight away the replacements popped. These feed the main I.C. which is at fault and sadly is not available as a spare making a repair not possible.
