Customers Fault Description : remote is showing red lights but does not seems to be connecting with gas fire module which is not showing any lights.

This remote and receiver arrived safely and on testing was found not to be responding from either the up or down button press. At first the ultrasonic transduce was thought to be at fault so a replacement was fitted but the problem remained.

It was then found that a US feed resistor was found to be reading higher in value way beyond its working tolerance

A replacement was fitted and full functionality was restored.
