This Burley fire controller arrived safely and on testing was found not to be transmitting on any button press.
On opening a component test was carried out but no issue could be found, a few solder joints were resoldered and the remote sprang to life. Unfortunately this was temporary, it appears that when the IC was heated the remote started to work.
Sadly this IC is not available as a spare and therefore deemed a repair non possible. But as we could get the control working temporarily by heating it allowed us to clone the control. This was done and supplied ot the customer.
