Customer's Fault Description
Not taking power etc
Screen not showing all letters
This Yamaha remote arrived safely and on adding a power source was confirmed to be dead, on opening the control the reason became clear. There has been a battery leakage in the past and sadly this has corroded much of the print around the battery terminals and main IC (See image). Due to the extent of this corrosion a repair is not possible.
