Customer's Fault Description
I have a problem with the remote handset for a series 1 Powrtouch mover...... When depressing the 2 red buttons to switch on the handset the green light flashes rapidly and the caravan nearside roller starts moving the caravan backwards (without depressing any of the direction buttons). The only way to switch off is to remove the battery.
This Caravan mover remote control and on turning on was confirmed to beconstantly transmitting a signal without any button press.
The facia was peeled back and a short was found on one of the buttons (due to condensation damage), this short was removed and the facia refitted and full normal functionality was restored.
