Customers Fault Description : Several of the buttons (e.g. volume) are working intermittently and only with a very firm push. New batteries had no effect.
The screen has been dim for a long time, which is less of a problem.
This AV Amp controller arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to have sluggish buttons. On opening this was found to be due to liquid contamination over many of the button contacts.
The board and pads were given an alcohol bath and full functionality was restored.
