Philips Sunmobile 4S (HB 871) Repair

The sunbed does not switch on and the manufacturer said that this happens when the remote is faulty. My electrician tested the PCB and the remote. The PCB is working fine but the remote is not working. He used a multimeter when the remote was attached to the sunbed and, although the PCB was fine, there was no electrical activity at the remote.

RECICH (MOVE CONTROL) Art.-No 527-0521 Repair

The button to put the mover into reverse is not working. It is the arrow button at the bottom of the 6 button control panel.

You have to press the ‘on’ button twice to activate the control, but this has stopped working recently. It took a number of attempts before it worked the first time I used it after the winter, but now has stopped altogether, despite new batteries. However, it works - as do all the other buttons - when I use an aux lead to connect the control to the main box, though even doing that sometimes takes a few goes.
