Hi there this is faulty The down works fine the up button works only When you press the 3rd button

 

This fireplace remote and receiver arrived safely and on testing was confirmed not to be operating on the up channel.  The remote was transmitting as normal but the receiver was not acknowledging the signal.  This was found to be due to a faulty 40.5khz crystal in the receiver.  A replacement was fitted and full functionality was restored.
