Customers Fault Description : Turns on but no other buttons working

 

This motor mover controller arrived safely and on inspection the battery cover was missing.  On adding a power source the control did respond from its power on function but no rf signal could be found on any further button press.

A component test was carried out and the oscillators replaced but functionality was not restored.  It was then concluded that the issue lay with the main IC which sadly is not available as a spare.  This has unfortunately rendered a repair not possible.
