Customer's Fault Description
The sunbed does not switch on and the manufacturer said that this happens when the remote is faulty. My electrician tested the PCB and the remote. The PCB is working fine but the remote is not working. He used a multimeter when the remote was attached to the sunbed and, although the PCB was fine, there was no electrical activity at the remote.
This Sunbed remote arrived safely and a full component test was carried out which revealed no immediate issues. It was then noticed that there were a couple of suspect joints (see image). These joints were resoldered.
It is requested that the control be fully tested by the customer.
