Customer's Fault Description
Both of the remotes are dead and non responsive
These control arrived safely and on testing was confirmed not to be transmitting on any button press.
On opening the keypads were contaminated and also there were a re suspect dry solder-joins. The joints were resoldered and the button array cleared up, this restored the Infra red functionality. The red led however does not illuminate, this is a common issue which is caused by one of the main I.C.s. This IC is not available as a spare and therefore the red led functionality will remain non illuminated. This does not effect the main functionality of the control itself.
