Customer's Fault Description
Screen goes blank when buttons are pushed
This fire remote arrived safely and on inspection the battery terminals were slightly corroded which was a sign of a leakage.
On testing the power would be intermittent. This was found to be due to a poor connection on one of the terminals to the PCB. The leakage had weakened the solder point.
The terminal was soldered back into place which restored full functionality.
