Mertik Maxitrol G30 ZRRS Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : Sensor/battery holder not responding to open gas valve instruction when remote operated (exactly as per description on this site. New batteries fitted to sensor and remote handset.

 

This fire remote and receiver arrived safely and on inspection one of the battery terminasl had signs of a battery leakage / contamination.

The battery block was replaced and also the 40khz crystal was replaced which is the common reason for channel drop issues.

On testing the usual +6 volts and -6 volts were present on each corresponding channel as per normal functionality.
